Problem
A task shows Failed, produces no draft, or says the drafting service is unavailable.
Possible causes
The service may be temporarily unavailable, the task took too long, the result could not be accepted, or its profile/source context changed while it was working. Some pilot services may not be ready yet.
Resolution
- Open the saved task and read its message. Refresh if the connection was interrupted.
- Check Usage and whether another task is active.
- Check your saved profile and selected source material. Replace deleted or expired material.
- Keep your original brief. When the issue is resolved, reselect the sources and send a new message intentionally.
Expected result
The new task either returns valid content or an honest error. A failed task is not turned into a made-up successful draft. A retry is a new task and can use allowance.
Related messages
“The drafting service is temporarily unavailable”, “This isn't configured yet”, and a changed-context message need different responses: wait, contact the pilot operator, or reassess the current material.
