Select the draft first
Open the intended draft card and choose Revise in chat. The composer shows a “Revising revision…” chip. Check its number before sending. Remove the chip if it points to the wrong draft, then select the correct card. An ambiguous “make it shorter” is not permission to edit an arbitrary draft.
Describe a focused change
Say what to change and what to preserve. Keep the relevant eligible source selected, choose the content language, and confirm that the instruction may be used for public drafting. The current composer needs a selected eligible source for that confirmation, so reselect the original source when necessary.
Revise the selected draft into three short paragraphs. Keep the source-backed points and remove the promotional ending. Do not introduce a new opinion or claim that I used the product. You can also use Edit in the draft panel and Save as new revision to make the changes yourself. Unsaved text is not the text that gets approved.
Review the result
The request creates a new saved revision on the same draft. The draft returns to Awaiting review, even if an earlier revision was approved. Open the new revision and check the actual text; a successfully completed task does not mean it is approved.
If the revision changed elsewhere
Another edit may have replaced the selected revision. Reload the current draft, preserve your intended change, and select its latest revision again. Do not repeatedly submit approval or revision requests against an old number. If a source was deleted, create a new draft from remaining eligible material instead.
