What an automation does
An automation repeats a research brief daily using selected vetted feeds. Use it when you want recurring drafts without entering the same brief each day. It creates drafts in the Scheduled drafts conversation; it does not approve or publish them.
Set a schedule
- Open Automations from Chat.
- Select one to five available feeds.
- Choose a local time and timezone. Confirm the timezone matches when you want the task to run.
- Write the research brief and choose the content language separately from your interface language.
- Turn on Enabled and choose Save.
- Check the displayed next run. Review future results in Scheduled drafts.
Important concepts
There is one daily schedule per agent. Each occurrence can create at most one task. After downtime, the schedule catches up at most once rather than recreating every missed day. Daylight-saving changes can affect local times; always inspect the next-run display after changing time or timezone.
Current limitations
Only feeds in the supplied catalog are available. Live research and authorized feeds still need pilot setup; an empty catalog means there is nothing you can enable yet. A missing new source or usage limit can prevent an occurrence from producing a draft. Pausing prevents future tasks but does not cancel an already-started one.
