Edit and save
- In Chat, choose Open draft on the intended card.
- Choose Edit, then change the text in Draft body.
- Choose Save as new revision. Wait for the saved result before approving.
- Read the new revision and review it separately.
A draft body can contain up to 20,000 characters. Edits are saved explicitly, not automatically. Keep a safe copy of important unsaved changes before leaving the page or recovering from a conflict.
What saving changes
Saving appends a revision and returns the draft to Awaiting review. It does not replace the history or preserve a previous approval for the new text. Your edited text is recorded as owner-edited; it does not relabel the original AI suggestion as owner-authored.
An edit may also create a private style memory candidate. That candidate stays inactive until you explicitly confirm it in Brain. Saving or approving this draft does not confirm it.
When saving is blocked
If another tab saved first, preserve your text and compare with the latest version. Do not overwrite blindly. If a dependency was deleted, the affected draft is blocked; begin again with remaining eligible material.
