Problem

Saving or approving reports that the item changed elsewhere, the revision is no longer current, or the context changed.

Possible causes

Another tab saved first, a Chat revision completed, or the profile changed. Approval always belongs to the exact saved revision and current eligible context.

Resolution

  1. Keep a safe copy of your unsaved text.
  2. Reload the current draft or profile and check its version.
  3. Compare your intended change with the saved text, then apply only what is still needed.
  4. Save as a new revision and read the result before approving. For a Chat revision, select the latest target again.

Expected result

Your changes are saved against the current version. The app does not silently overwrite a newer edit or approve text you have not reviewed.

“This changed elsewhere”, “This revision is no longer current”, and “Something this depended on changed” all require reassessment. A deleted dependency is different: the blocked revision cannot be reopened.
